WOOOOOOOOO!
Also, eat a sammich!
…wait, are we not doing that here?
Ooh, yay, another blog to read!
Somewhat off topic, but only a little bit – can someone tell me where the the picture in the header comes from? It’s cool. Also, what fonts are used for the main title and description? I am still seeking the perfect font for my next tattoo, and these are rather nice.
@tinycowboyhats: There will be no discussions of eating sammiches or cheezburgers unless the post is specifically about eating sammiches or cheezburgers. And then only if you have enough to share with the class.
@cate3710: the picture in the header is by awesome artist Ursula Dodge and I’m now the proud owner of it. At the very bottom of the page is a link to her etsy.com page if you want to check out her art. The font you’ll have to ask PilgrimSoul about, b/c she was our designer.
Jeez. Not more caterwauling about the patriarchy!
Hooray! What time of the day do you guys post dissections of episodes of Rock of Love? I’ll be sure to come back then.
congratulations, dear ladies. a noble and funny endeavour, indeed. huzzah!
SCONES!
*ahem*
I’m delighted you ladies have taken up this noble endeavor! Can bakery meet-ups be far behind?
Well, bookmarked, of course. Best of luck to you, here’s hoping for paying sponsors!
Yay, harpies! You’re off to a fantastic start. I’m loving this coming together of such fine minds!
Is this your inauguration? Where’s the bad poet? And the cool minister guy?
Congrats, ladies! Looking forward to some heated debates and some giggles. I’ll be back, fo shizzle.
Y’all, I am so proud. Awesome! I cannot wait to read each and every word you lovely, talented, whip-smart bishes post.
Well done, darlings! All my favs appear to have some over here!
Congrats, ladies.
Also, just wanted to say that the Grinnell College women’s rugby team is called the Harpies. So you have some tough sisters in Iowa.
@LucilleTwo: do they have t-shirts???
@Dieziet_sma: I don’t know about YOU, but I’m wearing my Aretha-style church crown with big rhinestone bow RIGHT NOW.
Thank you so much to all you ladies for being so welcoming and enjoying what we’re doing! It really warms the cockles of our icy harpy hearts!
LucilleTwo: I’m no athlete, but I almost went to Grinnell! Very cool.
To all: my icy heart is not yet melted. Make with the obsequies!
Oh, dear, the fonts. Well, both I pulled off of a free font site somewhere. The title one is called “Handserif” and our tagline is in “Zapfino.”
BeckySharper, good question. I’ve been out of college for, um, a while. I will do some research and find out. I’d like one too!
Thanks everyone for checking us out.
Aw, I didn’t know there was an “opening post,” which- in retrospect- seems obvious. As long as you keep telling me it’s ok to not like heels and not wear make-up, I will heart you forever.
