actually, i have to say that her life is more like a nightmare to me. i don’t want 12 children, i think the wolves she shoots are better people than she is and her hunky husband gives me the willies. i do feel bad for her kids, though-i have to admit. and i definitely disagree with EVERYTHING she said in any interview or in any speech.

The only reason I dislike Sarah Palin, in fact the only reason I think of her at all, is because her candidacy made it less likely that Bristol Palin, and McCain’s daughter (her name escapes me), or any other female candidate no matter how qualified will every become President or achieve political success.

If a woman’s career makes her field less accessible to future generations of women instead of more, she is not a feminist, period.

once again it all comes down to our looks, sexuality and marital status. women can never hold actual opinions based on the merits of someone’s ideas and actions, it’s all just based on ugly women who can’t get a man jealous of pretty married ladies. i can’t believe anti feminists are still pulling out this tired shit. it’s like they feel THREATENED by the fact that you can be pretty AND married and still hateful.

Thanks, Becky! I just may take you up on that sometime–I keep wanting to go to a nyc jez thing, but I’m only on the east coast on vacation these days.

Points at which I LOLed in the article:

And: breast-feeding? Haven’t we seen a lot lately that would indicate breast-feeding isn’t a red state/blue state thing? Or was that just a way for the writer to talk about Sarah Palin’s breasts?
