@Rebecca: It was one of those stories that I had a lot of fun ranting about. Her dismissal was very upsetting, given that she clearly has some kind of history. Hearing anyone refer to EDs as silly just feeds into that concept that they’re selfish/immature little diets.

Really? “Fat Age”?

Humans need fat, yo. That’s scientifically proven, over and over again–I hate that this type of article, this type of thinking is yet another method of making women (men too, but predominantly women) afraid.

(And, Soalg, I was infuriated with that dismissal of eating disorders, too. Sounds like she’s in denial to me…)
