Readers, posting will be light for about a week, because BeckySharper is not the only one skipping town. Your very own SarahMC is going on vacation for the first time in four years! The boyf and I are leaving for the Dominican Republic tomorrow morning. Friends of ours are getting married in Santo Domingo on Saturday; we are staying there for a couple days before we head out along the south coast to La Romana. Our plans are not exactly set in stone. I am going to miss my dog terribly while we’re gone and I’m going to miss YOU too! But I’ll survive (if sunburn doesn’t kill me).

Have a happy Memorial Day! Until we meet again…

@Auntie Em: My boss has a bumper sticker on her Pontiac that says “Save the Ta-Ta’s!” I’ve always wondered what that was all about, but I’ve never asked.

Enjoy yourself, lady! You really do deserve it and I hope you and the boyf have a fabulous time together. Hoagie will be waiting for you when you return, as will we! :)

Ug, I hate that frickin slogan, Kelsium. It’s for “breast cancer awareness.”
