A Thank You from Me and My Booty

Posted by BeckySharper in Harpy Shout-out, Thoughts, Fashion, Thanks! on Jul 3, 2009, 8:37pm | 3 comments

When I wrote last month about my deep and abiding dislike of shopping for jeans, several commenters suggested I try the Joe’s Honey line, which is made for those of us with small waists and wide hips. Faced with the imminent demise of my favorite pair of Calvins, I went to South Moon Under in the small beach town where I’m vacationing, and tried on some  Joe’s Honey jeans.  Reader, they rocked my world. The denim has the right amount of stretch and is lightweight enough that I can wear it in the summer without getting too sweaty. And lo and behold, they fit my curves just right.  So many, many thanks for the excellent recommendation!

Yay! Joe is a bit rich for my blood, so I stick to Express’ Eva cut. But congrats!

I do need to get new jeans. Rock and Republic are my favorite but they are a MAJOR splurge, and I seem to be unemployed.

Yay, glad it worked out! It’s such a relief to find pants that fit and flatter you.
