Three Times the Fun? Or Just Sloppy Thirds?

The latest post from my Bed, Bitch and Beyond blog on Bitch Magazine in which I respond to a reader who wrote: Curious to know what you and Bitch readers think about threesomes. I tried a threesome, and feelings got hurt just like I’d feared they might. I think you gotta be very sure there’s no competition between the three, and everyone really is into it (probably obvious, but you know…)

Hmm . . . I think the limited nature of male sexuality in our culture (the idea of male ejaculation being the natural conclusion to the sexing, I mean) makes a MFF threesome sort of embarassing for the male participant. Embarassing might not be exactly the word I’m looking for, but . . . you know.

Thanks for writing that. I only read the first comment and your first response and was like, “Okay, gotta go, knee-jerk reaction thread starting in 3, 2, 1…”

I really love hearing your perspective on how porn so inundates people with what the ‘norm’ is in the bedroom. And a lot of these people don’t like being told that what they ‘desire’ isn’t from their own imagination, but it was preselected for them by misogynistic assholes. Most men and most women think that they should like that stuff just because they see it in porn and don’t realize how brainwashed they are.
    Keep up the good work!
