From commenter Spark: I wanted to let you know about “Politics, Sex, and Cocktails,” a happy hour sponsored by Planned Parenthood NYC Action Fund on Thursday, March 25, from 6:30-9 pm, at G2 (14th St. and 9th Ave). In addition to lots of info on PP’s political work–including the fall elections and lobbying for the Reproductive Health Act, which would eliminate abortion from NY state’s criminal code–there will be drink specials, speakers, giveaways, a raffle, and a chance to meet all the awesome PPNYC people.
There’s still a lot of work to be done on reproductive rights–more than ever, thanks to the recent deal with the devil that got Health Care Reform passed. Go if you can! All the particulars here.
