mm–The paper is kind of shit, so no. It needs to grow up a little first. I think it went over well because I had great AV stuff.

cellocat–no time for the Arch this weekend, but I’ve been up a couple times, having lived in the Midwest growing up. Creepy little egg-elevators they have.

baraqiel–I’ll try to remember! (horrible with taking pictures. The Dude gets so frustrated when I come home with, like, two blurry shots of one of my nephews.) They were St. Louis Bread Company before they spread, but I don’t know if they’ve rebranded here in the city. I always call them Bread Co., anyway, since that’s what I knew them as for years.

I had a roommate from St. Louis who was adamant that Panera be called The St. Louis Bread Company since that was its original name. If you such a sign, take a picture? And, of course, have fun!

Yep, I delivered my paper today. Small but appreciative crowd, with some good conversations after, cards exchanged, some discussion of a future project w/ a culture studies prof from RI about digital culture and materiality. And now I can just sit back and relax–see what I’m interested in, hang out, enjoy the sunshine. I gotta say, the weather here probably has it over Amsterdam, at least.
