Wow, y’all.
Since Michelle’s Harpy Help Wanted post went up on Monday, we’ve gotten a whole lotta audition posts. It’s immensely gratifying to learn that you like us…you really, really like us! We started this blog almost two years ago and while that initial sense of “uh…is anyone out there?” has gone away, it’s still humbling to know that so many people are reading and are willing to commit to writing with us. Everything we’ve received so far is full of feminist awesomeness.
Please continue to send audition posts through the rest of this week and the weekend, we know there might be folks who need some non-work-week hours to write. Then we’ll begin the daunting task of reading and ruminating. There will be many, many wonderful guest posts to share, and hopefully two new bloggers joining the nest.
