I&#039;ve been aware of the gender imbalance problem looming in China, but was not aware of the issue in India.  Some of the consequences that your brought up were not on my radar.  I have been in particular worried about the issue of sex-slavery with women in surrounding countries, but I also have hopes that it will improve women&#039;s status in these countries.]]></description>
