I love Thomas Hardy’s poetry. “Under the Waterfall” might be my all-time favorite poem. It really will make you cry if you’re in the right (wrong?) mood. “And why does plunging your arm in a bowl / Full of spring water, bring throbs to your soul?” Ah. I think he writes the best love poetry.
