   …And of course those assholes at NOM are saying that this is a “wake-up call” for their side (which they claim is a majority), saying legislators were bribed (!), and trying to use this to rally the forces of hate and get people of conscience voted out of office.

   Did you read the article in the NYTimes about how maybe Dolan, archbishop of NY, had already given this up as a lost cause? That he didn’t even bother to be in town during the last days of the vote? I found that really hopeful.
