I especially found the idea that “my desire made me more interesting to myself” to be one that has caused me to stop and think, and reflect on who I am in totality (ie not just the intellectual, emotional, physical, etc.. but to include the role of sexuality in my reflections of identity.)

It was great the way erotica, not necessarily acted out, can help to see a particular aspect of ourselves and our desires..
