The only thing that persisted to stay after I started MMA training was cellulite. I learned pretty quickly that no amount of work, product or treatment in the world will get rid of it. Cellulite results from how your body stores fat, not how much fat there is. And even if a product temporarily disperses the fat (like caffeine does), the fat WILL come back (because that's just where your body keeps its fat).

Products like this sell because they don't tell you the whole story. Yeah, they might reduce the cellulite temporarily, but its basically designed to be used ALL the time. So the whole point of the product is to get women using it long-term (which, of course, results in more money). None of these companies have a vested interest in actually coming up with an effective product - because effective products can lose a company money.

That's a shame - I like bliss products (got suckered by free miniatures in a posh hotel and have had to buy their blood orange and black pepper moisturiser since). It always makes me angrier when companies I like do stupid-arse things like this.

Just wow.. could you make a complaint to whichever government department is supposed to ensure truth in advertising?

A couple of complaints where I live, and hey presto the scrubs/creams/etc that "promised" to get rid of women's natural fat deposits disappeared from the market.

I am not excusing or condoning the behavior. I do think that they chose the name as a play on the singer Fatboy Slim. Had he not existed, I doubt they would have come up with that name. Something else equally bad, I'm sure, though.
