I mean…maybe that happened when I was a teen and had insanely raging hormones and a slight breeze and passing glimpse of a pair of broad shoulders would provoke physical arousal. But I don’t know anyone who would say that the mere sight/presence of their beloved provokes that kind of physical response. That is truly a dumb question.

I know, right? I mean, yeah, on some level I’m aware of feeling better when I’m in proximity to my partner? And if we’re in extended (not-intentionally-sexual) physical contact, I’m aware of subtle arousal responses? But if I was experiencing extreme “want” on those terms every time we were in the same room, it would be very problematic for getting things like laundry done or remembering to eat dinner !

But I live with my primary partner… I adore her and I am definitely turned on by her, but I think if I had that sort of response every time I looked at her, I would be in an early grave.
