Congrats on your future kittens! We started Teazle off on the brand of food they’d been feeding her at the shelter (Science Diet for kittens) as the staff recommended. Technically, she’s still eating that, but since we have an older cat who has her own food as well they’ve been stealing from each other and it doesn’t seem to have upset Teazle’s digestion at all.

We’re going to keep giving her dry and wet food formulated for kittens, primarily, until she’s a bit older. They recommend a mix of wet and dry because the wet helps keep them hydrated and the dry helps keep plaque from building on their teeth.
